Please join FUROCIOUS, dog blogger, with the star of the holidays, Santa Claus, Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 2-4PM at the Hotel Monaco for the annual “Santa Paws” fundraiser and photo event! Hosted by the lavishly decorated, pet-friendly Hotel Monaco, at 2 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, the event will serve as a furry fundraiser for our friends at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue (http://www.luckydoganimalrescue.org/)! For $20 bring your favorite pet(s) to sit with Santa for an ‘official’ photo (and you may bring your own camera for additional photos - and no extra cha-ching!) and all proceeds will be donated to the rescue. Lucky Dog will bring along some of their favorite furries waiting to be adopted - so watch out, maybe it’s YOUR time to be rescued by a cute canine!
To add to the fun, there will be a raffle for items provided by Flowers & Fancies, Baltimore Dog Bakery, Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin’s Press...and much more.
Lucky Dog Rescue Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit animal rescue organization that saves homeless shelter pets from high-kill shelters. Lucky Dog does not have its own facility, but a rather a network of temporary fosters (and occasionally boarding partners) that take care of the homeless pets until they find their forever human and home. The organization holds adoption events every weekend between Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
