UPDATE Dec 15:  Vuitton and Chanel

Comments

I am REALLY sorry to read the outcome of the Chanel vs. Colle case.  I know it was a battle of Goliath proportions with the Colle having little chance of winning but I was ever hopeful.  As for LV - I never bought into the overpriced plastic purses and wondered why so many others did.

Thanks Lisa for keeping us informed!

Great follow-up reporting, Lisa.  I feel as if I am preaching to the choir when I discuss my opinions, since you and I share many on this topic and others.  The net return to heroine is pennies considering the defendant.  Though, if your article is circulated to the masses, more people would realize this industries pervasive charade…  thousands of dollars for mass produced plastic.

I always thought Louis Vuitton goods were made in China by prison labor.

Keep spreading the word, Lisa.  This emperor has no clothes.

having seen the ad campaign by Vuitton in NYT etc, I said to myself, “i don’t think so”. the only LARGE luxury goods company doing things by hand these days in Hermes.
