Ladies—and gents—start your engines.
Although the annual Best Dressed Sale doesn’t take place until September, drop-off dates are happening now. After all, how can people buy these fab designer duds if they’re not donated, culled, and arranged ahead of time? And since Snowmageddon killed the drop-off days in February, the April days are especially important.
The Best Dressed Sale is sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Women’s Board, and all proceeds benefit the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Here’s the deal: you take your new or gently used high-quality clothes—things you loved but now no longer wear—to the Evergreen Carriage House on Monday or Tuesday. Scores of volunteers comb through them, selecting the gems and putting aside the less-than-gemlike. The same thing happens in June and September (will remind you of those dates later). Then, in October, the Best Dressed Sale and Boutique opens for three days at Evergreen and is mobbed by hordes of fashion-conscious, bargain-seeking women.
Quality new and gently used clothing for the entire family
We accept donations from 9 am - 1 pm
Monday April 5 and Tuesday April 6
