Baltimore is a southern city. I am from Baltimore and once the thought seal is broken.. and you actually start thinking about it.. the south is all around us here. I mean, we are sitting in the country.

I think Baltimore is nice, and very friendly.It has a few Southern charms, but mostly Northern delights. Its the very definition of A Mid-Atlantic city. Northern city with Southern overtones. IMO, Washington, DC is the gateway to the South (If you’re on the East Coast).

This article seems to be written by someone that has a bias toward the South. In my opinion Baltimore is indeed a Southern town with northern characteristics.
