Oh, Baby! Wow Shopping for Kiddies
My first reaction to Baby Madison (158 Main Street) is: I want to get pregnant, adopt a baby or at the very least, spoil a niece or nephew. This adorable new shop for boys and girls is a breath of fresh air on our main drag. An explosion of hot pink, orange and yellow flowers, stripes and polka dots greet visitors in a big bright space that’s specially designed for moms maneuvering unwieldy strollers. Racks of clothes in sizes from infant to 6X line the walls in all sorts of creative designs, patterns and textures.

A few tables are topped with shoes that must be designed by a baby’s version of Manolo Blanick.
This is very cool west coast stuff. Many of the labels are the same ones worn by Branjolina’s clan and the bambinos of other hot stars. The best news is, EVERYTHING IS MADE IN AMERICA. And EVERYTHING IS ORGANIC. Labels such as Charlie Rocket, a favorite of Anjolina; Harajuku, Gwen Stefani’s childrens line; KAOS vintage T-shirts that feature rock albums and the Kingsley boys line. Prices range from $18 to $80.
If you’re feeling sad, just step inside. This place will turn your mood around.
