Forget your troubles come on get happy…
The best for less is my mantra, especially when it comes to dining out. I want all the bells and whistles that a fancy restaurant offers but I don’t want sticker shock when the check arrives.
I just discovered a delicious, cost efficient way to enjoy the food and ambiance at one of the priciest places in town:
Happy Hour lasts from 5 p.m. till closing at Morton’s The Steakhouse at Park Place.
Morton’s swanky see-and-be-seen bar is now offering its “Bar Bites” menu at $5 a plate every day of the week. The same great food, the same hearty portions are at a new appetizing price.
The Bar Bites Menu include Miniature Prime Cheeseburgers—three plump mini burgers and buns; Petite Filet Mignon Sandwiches—four sandwiches, perfect for sharing; Miniature Crab Cakes—three yummy patties accompanied by a delicious sauce; a healthy portion of Spinach and Artichoke Dip; or the rather decadent Blue Cheese French Fries. At $5 a plate!
There are a few more choices plus a good buy on shrimp and oysters. Mix and match a few Bar Bites with a friend, order selected beer and wines priced at $4 a glass and voila, a bargain dinner is served. I love a sale—especially when the deal is on great noshes at a great place.
Maybe I’ll see you there?
P.S. I plan to check out other great dining deals over the next few weeks. Have a favorite bargain meal you’d like to share? Let me know. I’d love to tell our readers about it.
