Old-Fashioned Pan-Fried Soft Crabs

Serves four
8 small soft crabs, cleaned
flour mixed with a pinch of salt and pepper
vegetable oil

Dredge soft crabs in a light coating of flour. Put enough vegetable oil in your frying pan to keep the crabs from sticking. On low heat, fry the crabs until they’re brown on both sides, about three to four minutes per side, depending on thickness.
