
Serves four
2 cups of Old Bay-Seasoned Spiced Nuts (recipe follows)
6-8 ounces of thinly sliced prosciutto
8 ounces mixed olives (marinated, green, black, etc.)
4 ounces Parmesan cut into chunks
Keep all components separate in plastic deli containers until ready to serve, then arrange on plate.
Old Bay-Seasoned Spiced Nuts
2 1/2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons Old Bay (adjust to taste as necessary)
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2/3 cup of whole walnuts
2/3 cup of whole cashews
2/3 cup of whole almonds
1 whipped egg white
Melt butter in a small saucepan and add Old Bay, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. In a large bowl combine nuts and then pour over seasoned melted butter. Whip egg white to a soft peak in a separate bowl and fold into seasoned nuts. Spread nuts onto a cookie sheet and bake about 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated, 350-degree oven until brown and crunchy.
