Stay-at-home Dad Aaron Schiller’s chili recipe.
4 lbs. ground chuck
1 tsp. black pepper
3 cans of beer
2 tsps. oregano
2 Jalapeno peppers (chopped)
1 tbsp. cumin powder
5 tbsps. chili powder
1 tbsp. salt
4 cloves crushed garlic
1 16 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
hot pepper sauce to taste
1 finely chopped onion
3 chopped bell pepper (green, red or whatever)
Brown the meat in a large pot, stirring occasionally to mix well. Once the meat has browned, add the tomato sauce, 1 can of beer and all remaining ingredients except for Choc chips. Cook over low-medium heat for 30 minutes. Drink second beer and add Chocolate chips stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook covered for 1 hour, while drinking third beer, stirring ocassionally. Enjoy Chili with a beer.
