Emergency Animal Shelter Training Class
Hello BCART Volunteers!
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) will be conducting their Emergency Animal Sheltering (EAS) Training class here in the Baltimore Region on July 18th (Sat.) and 19th (Sun.). The class is two-full days. A location for this training will be finalized in the near future. Please review the website that the HSUS created to handle registration for this training:
http://www.humanesocietyu.org/workshops_and_classes/eas_baltimore.html
This training is being provided for the Baltimore Region first, thanks to the Baltimore County Animal Response Team. While the normal fee is $85 per person, the costs have been brought down to $30 per person due to a grant secured by the Baltimore County Animal Response Team. This training is geared towards animal control, health department, emergency management, other local government officials, interested volunteers, etc.
This is really a great training opportunity so please sign up!
