Stopped by Rock Hall’s Inn at Osprey Point to check out The Annex—five new rooms overlooking Gratitude Marina. This is a great stopover for boaters—or those who love boats—as Gratitude Marina lies literally right outside your window. I recommend the Port or Starboard rooms for their top-notch views. Each go for $225 a night weekends or $190 weeknights during summer.

Also during summer, Osprey Point’s restaurant is offering its “2 Can Dine for $59”  special, which includes two three-course meals. Highlights include grilled Texas Gulf shrimp, a seafood hot pot with salmon, scallops, shrimp with soba noodles and ponzu broth; and my personal favorite for dessert—a warm valrohna chocolate bombe with hazelnut gelato and raspberry coulis. Mmmmm, bombe….
