Early fall is a great time to have a dinner party. The searing summer heat gives way to beautiful crisp evenings that are perfect to share with friends. But there’s another great reason to organize a dinner party this time of year—it’s harvest time for the growers, and crabs are also at their peak plumpness. So take advantage of these rich seasonal elements: gather some friends over for dinner, and share these easy-to-make recipes.
Butternut Squash Soup with Toasted Macadamia Nuts
Crab Cakes with Tartar Sauce and Chives
Chargrilled Spatchcock of Young Chicken with Roasted Root Vegetables
