Great reviews, and generous.  One correction in the review of Mrs. Kitching’s Smith Island Cookbook:  her Smith Island Ten-Layer Cake is the original recipe, created before my eyes (and I am the book’s author) in her kitchen before she died, and subsequently published for the book’s 25th anniversary.  Mrs. Kitching’s Smith Island Ten-Layer Cake is now included in all copies of the cookbook.  2010 marks the book’s 30th year in print.
