Although a registered Democrat, I always voted for Wayne Gilchrest and depended on his honest attempts to save the environment; I’m sure there are many more virtues that can be listed here. I often wrote to him and “always” received an understandable response, no jibberish or double talk.  After reading this article I am twice as proud of making the choice to vote for him.
I wish him well in his retirement. I made a similar choice many years ago when working with dishonest and deceitful people who tried to bring me into their circle…although they tried hard, I left with pride knowing that they could not persuade me to engage in their selfish tactics. No it was not a political position but surely they were playing “politics”.Its just a great feeling knowing you live by your personal standards and not latch on the those who try to persuade you differently.
God Belss you Mr. Gilchrest for the politician you were and the man you are today.

If Mr. Gilchrest had only served a fixed period, as he promised in his campaign, maybe he would have a different outlook. If you run on term limits, do what you promise people.
