We visited the Severn Inn last night and took advantage of the Annapolis Restaurant Week fixed price menu.  I am 47 years old and I have never in my entire life had chicken like I had at the Severn Inn - absolutely delicious.  I couldn’t stop talking about it and I can’t wait to go back.  The service was excellent as well.

We gave up on other restaurants this summer after giving the Severn Inn a try. The food is great, the lunches are recommended for your first outing. Go back in for dinner—-the one special thing this place has going (according to our waiter) is that their chef tries to put at least one unusual or hard to find fish on his specials, so if you’re bored with the usual, this is a plus. The other thing I appreciated on our special meal out was the timing. From someone who was once in the restaurant biz., eating a special meal without being rushed is KEY. Try this place. It’s a little confusing if you mapquest it, but just remember it’s across the Severn River from the Naval Academy at the foot of the bridge.
